Opening of minutes for inspection

The City Board meets at the City Hall in the City Board meeting room (Hallituskatu 4) on the 2nd and 4th weekday of every month, starting at 15.00 and when necessary.

The minutes are available for inspection on the city’s website. The opening of the minutes is always announced in the notice of the meeting. The decisions of the officers of the City Council are made available on the public information network of the City on the date specified in the decision, in accordance with the new Local Government Act.

The City Council shall meet at such times as it decides and also when the President of the Council considers it necessary. The notice of the meeting and the agenda shall be posted on the City’s website at least four (4) days prior to the Council meeting. In addition, the notice of the meeting without the agenda shall be published in the newspaper chosen as the City’s gazette (Koti-Lappi) and on the City’s electronic bulletin board during the council period. The invitation to the meeting always announces that the minutes are available for inspection.

The Board of Inspectors meets monthly, as a rule on Fridays at 12.00 and at other times as required in the Boards’ meeting room, Hallituskatu 4. The minutes are publicly available on the City’s website on the working day following the meeting. The publication of the minutes is always announced in the notice of the meeting.

As a rule, the Future Committee meets on the last Tuesday of each month, starting at 16.00, and at other times as and when required. The minutes are made available for inspection on the city’s website and the decisions of the officers of the Board (insofar as they are public) are made available on the city’s public information network on the date specified in the decision, in accordance with the new Local Government Act.

The meetings of the Life Committee are held as a rule on Thursdays from 16.00 in the City Council meeting room, tel. Hallitatu 4 or at any other place indicated in the invitation to the meeting. The minutes are publicly available after inspection on the municipal website. The opening of the minutes is always announced in the invitation to the meeting. The decisions of the officers of the Board are made available for inspection on the date specified in the decision on the city’s public information network in accordance with the new Municipal Act.

The meetings of the Board of Directors are held as a rule on Wednesdays from 16.00 in the City Council meeting room, tel. Hallitatu 4 or at any other place indicated in the invitation to the meeting. The minutes are publicly available after inspection on the municipal website. The opening of the minutes is always announced in the invitation to the meeting. The decisions of the officers of the Board are made available for inspection on the date specified in the decision on the city’s public information network in accordance with the new Municipal Act.

Meetings of the Environmental Health Committee are held as and when required, with the time and place of the meeting being agreed separately each time. The minutes will be made available for inspection on the City of Kemijärvi’s website and the decisions of the Board’s subordinate officials (insofar as they are public) will be made available for inspection on the date specified in the decision on the City’s public information network in accordance with the Municipal Act.
