Moonbeams and Fireflies’ Dance

Kaisa Ristiluoma & Sini Napari
Accordion and tightrope dancing – two solo performances in one event
At the Kemijärvi Cultural Centre Hall on Thursday, 5 February 2026 at 6:00 p.m.

The programme features accordion artist Kaisa Ristiluoma’s solo concert Moonbeams, and circus artist Sini Napari’s solo work Fireflies’ Dance.

Kaisa Ristiluoma’s solo concert offers an intense and immersive journey into the world of the accordion. The moon has two sides, just like a human being; the light is not always visible, yet it is always there. The moonbeams reflect different facets of this northern accordion artist, guiding the listener from delicate, lyrical moods to virtuosic folk-inspired playfulness.

Fireflies’ Dance provides a glimpse into a delicate and magical moment between light and the individual. It is a window into a connection where sparkle, warmth, and tension coexist. Sini’s solo performance features a unique LED-light installation designed by circus engineer Anssi Kolehmainen, merging with tightrope dancing and balancing on bottles in an unprecedented way to tell the story of the fireflies. Music composed by Kaisa also plays a significant role in Sini’s work, painting the world surrounding the fireflies.

During the intermission, a café will be open.

The event is organised by Kemijärven Musiikkiyhdistys ry.

Tickets: €18 / €15 / €10, sold at the door starting at 5:00 p.m.

Warmly welcome!
