Farmers relief services

Farmers’ farm relief services support the social security of the entrepreneur, his/her ability to cope with work and the extension of his/her working life. These services include annual leave, replacement assistance and paid holidaymaker assistance.

The local units of Muhos, Posio, Ristijärvi, Salla, Siikalatva, Sodankylä, Sotkamo and Ylitornio have merged on 1 January 2023.

We will introduce a common customer service number and email for the Northern Finland replacement services Customer service number 08 5587 0400 (weekdays 9am-3pm)

All contacts with farmers will be centralised on a customer service number and by email at lomitus@muhos.fi.

On call

On weekends and public holidays, customer service is available from 10.00 to 11.00 on 044 4970 800. The on-call service is intended for emergencies.

Self-arranged replacement

Applications for compensation for self-arranged respite are submitted centrally to Muhos municipality, either by post to Muhos municipality / respite services, P.O. Box 39, 91501 Muhos or by e-mail to the following address:
