Every year we carry out various customer satisfaction or other surveys to help us improve and develop our services for you. Links to these surveys will be posted on this website.

Library Response

We often receive acquisition requests, and we strive to fulfill them within our budget constraints.

For example, the library received an acquisition request through the feedback page on April 30, 2024: “The movie is only available on Blu-ray, but a DVD version is also needed. John Wick, chapter 4 (movie: 2023)” and a link to an online store was attached. The library cannot purchase movies directly from online stores because copyright fees must be paid for the movies. Private individuals do not need to worry about these. We have checked with the suppliers and they have informed us that the movie is not available in a DVD format with Finnish subtitles AND copyright paid
