The average time taken to process an environmental permit application is 4-6 months.
A decision on the general notification procedure under the Environmental Protection Act is usually issued within 120 days.
For activities to be registered, the registration notification must be submitted 30 or 60 days before the activity is to start.
A notification for a one-off activity must be submitted 30 days before the activity starts.
The notification of ploughing under the Nitrates Regulation must be made 14 days before ploughing starts.
